Dr. Rishi Deka, also known as Rishi The Refined, is an American academic, award-winning independent photojournalist, and multi-genre author. He is based in San Diego, California, USA and can be reached at rdeka@ucsd.edu or dekart@rishideka.com.

Dr. Deka is currently a Postdoctoral Scholar in Radiation Oncology and an Instructor in Biostatistics I and II at UC San Diego.
